English Literature Reading Instructor
Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering course curriculum in the classroom and/or online for small group elementary and secondary students
- Creating lesson plans based on the provided course outline and teaching materials
- Delivering English Literature Reading courses with the teaching materials provided by Sloan Academy or by the instructors
- Revising and correcting students’ assignment and providing feedback for students’ learning progress
- Prioritize student needs so that each student may reach their fullest potential
- Create strategies to engage and nurture student learning and student relationships
Qualifications:
- A major or specialization in English Literature or Teaching English as a Second Language
- Familiar with classical literature books and the Canadian school reading system (an asset)
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Native English Speaker
- a passion for teaching international students and the ability to inspire and motivate students’ learning
- The experience of teaching ESL course or English literature course in an elementary or a secondary school
Hours:
Online instruction: Friday – Sunday, 7:00 a.m.- 10:00 a.m. or 7:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
On-site instruction: Monday – Friday, 4:30 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. Saturday – Sunday, 9:00 a.m.- 4: 00 p.m.

English Creative Writing Instructor
Responsibilities Include:

- Delivering Creative Writing course with the teaching materials provided by Sloan Academy or by the instructors
- Creating lesson plans based on the provided course outline and teaching materials
- Revising and proofreading students’ assignment and providing feedback for students’ learning outcomes
- Prioritize student needs so that each student may reach their fullest potential
- Create strategies to engage and nurture student learning and student relationships
Qualification
- A major or specialization in English or Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Strong oral communications skills
- Native English Speaker
- Passions for teaching diverse students and the ability to inspire and motivate students’ learning
- Being familiar with the Ontario Curriculum of language (preferred)
- Teaching certificate: OCT, ESL, TESOL, TEFL. (at least one of them)
- The experience of teaching ESL course or English writing course

Online instruction: Friday – Sunday, 7:00 a.m.- 10:00 a.m. or 7:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
On-site instruction: Monday – Friday, 4:30 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. and Saturday – Sunday, 9:00 a.m.- 4: 00 p.m.

ESL Instructor

- A major or specialization in Teaching English as a Second Language

- Native English Speaker

- Being familiar with the Ontario Curriculum of ESL (preferred)
- The experience of teaching ESL to kids from Grade 4 – l0 Teaching certificate: OCT, ESL, TESOL, TEFL. (at least one of them)

High School Academic Subject Instructor
Responsibilities Include:
• Delivering course curriculum in the classroom and/or online for a small class size maximum 10 students besides one on one tutoring
• Creating teaching materials and lesson plan base on the Ontario Curriculums
• Revising and proofreading students’ assignment and providing feedback for students’ learning outcomes
• Prioritize student needs so that each student may reach their fullest potential
• Create strategies to engage and nurture student learning and student relationships
Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in related major
• Proficient in one of the secondary school (G9- G12) subjects: Math/ Science/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Computer, etc.
• Experience in Canadian education systems
• Classroom experience is an asset
• Desire to engage and inspire young learners, help the students to build learning strategies, improve their lesson score through the whole semester
• Strong motivational skills and an ability to keep students on task– Dynamic, energetic, and have a good personality with strong responsibility

Soft Skills Training Instructor
Responsibilities Include:
• Delivering course with the teaching materials provided by Sloan Academy or by the instructors
• Creating lesson plan, continuously improving the training programs;
• Revising and proofreading students’ assignment and providing feedback for students’ learning outcomes and progress
• Prioritize student needs so that each student may reach their fullest potential
• Create strategies to engage and nurture student learning and student relationships
Qualification:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in related major
• Proficient in training soft skills included Communication skills, Critical thinking, Time management, Leadership & team building, etc
• Experience in the U.S. or Canadian education systems
• Demonstrated ability to successfully develop and deliver training programs utilizing skills in instructional design, program design & development, and training methodologies
• Strong motivational skills and an ability to keep students on task– Dynamic, energetic, and have a good personality with strong responsibility
• High energy, enthusiastic, motivational training style
• Strong organizational, planning, project management, problem resolution, communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills required

French Instructor
This French instructor is responsible for developing an effective learning environment for students according to their educational background, language proficiency and individual learning style. He or she can find their own ways to teach in French.
A candidate for this position will possess the following:
- Dynamic, energetic and outgoing personality
- Extensive knowledge of the French language
- Be familiar with Ontario Curriculum
- Have experience with international students
- Instruct in a small group-based study environment
- Strong communication skills, written and oral, fluency in French is a MUST
- Previous online French teaching experience is a plus
- Be able to work on weekends or some nights

DECA Instructor
Responsibility
- Create teaching materials and teaching plans for three tiers of DECA classes
- Deliver course curriculum on a weekly basis in the classroom and/or online for small group students
- Provide suggestion of competitive events for each student based on their abilities and interests
- Prepare students for regional, provincial, and international DECA competition at high school level, with a goal of award-winning
- Provide feedback for students’ learning progress and improve students’ learning experience
- Prioritize student needs so that each student may reach their fullest potential
- Create strategies to engage and nurture student learning and student relationships
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in process or completed in related major
- Experiences in participation in DECA competition during high school period; winning an award in the past is preferred
- Familiar with the registration process, timeline, and rules of DECA competition
- Previous experiences in teaching/tutoring high school students for DECA competition
- Demonstrated ability to successfully develop and deliver training programs utilizing skills in instructional design, program design & development, and training methodologies
- Strong motivational skills and an ability to keep students on task– Dynamic, energetic, and have a good personality with strong responsibility
- Excellent organizational, planning, project management, problem resolution, communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills required
